MUSIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF THE ORCHESTRE SYMPHONIQUE DU SAGUENAY – LAC-SAINT-JEAN AND THE ORCHESTRE SYMPHONIQUE DE SHERBROOKE

Jean-Michel Malouf is the Music and Artistic Director of the Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke.

Trombonist by training, the Montreal native turned to conducting in 2005, under the tutelage of Mr. Raffi Armenian and was awarded the Jean-Marie-Beaudet Award from the Canada Council for the Arts.

On October 5, the Sherbrooke audience was reacquainted with the musicians of the Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke (OSS). For the opening concert of its 84th season, the OSS brought the sounds of Verdi, Liszt and Tchaikovsky to the Centre culturel de l'Université de Sherbrooke.
